Hello Debra,
We have finally seen the table and chairs we gave to Jeanette Voas and Tim Carroll. We had a very lovely Christmas with them in their home, and I was looking forward to seeing their new dining room set. I knew the table would be very nice, and I knew that Tim and Jeanette were very happy with it.
However, I hadn't dreamed that it would be as stunning as it is! The Royal Mission design is perfect for their dining room, and the craftsmanship is outstanding. The cherry wood is beautiful, and the finish is perfect.
The quality is absolutely the best in every respect. The chairs go well with the table, and they are very comfortable. I am so glad I found your company. I looked at several sites, and visited furniture stores in our area. I decided that you have a much wider selection than any other company around. And you even sent a huge number of wood samples for them to ponder.
So, our gift to them was a roaring success, and I'm thrilled that it turned out so well. Our thanks to your craftsman, and for the services of Amish Tables. You're the best!

I want to share with you how pleased we all are with the table and chairs. After we here in the home finished admiring their beauty, guest began to arrive on Wednesday before we turned the lights on. All the beauty of the wood could be seen from the natural light. My guest were so busy admiring the table and chairs, they neglected to look down and admire my new Turkish rug.
Later that evening when we began to set the table for 16 people our guess realized how big the table really is. We finished dinner, removed the table cloth and everyone continued to admire not only the table but the craftsman ship of the chairs as well. I had to tell the story over and over to each one who came up to examine it closely of my adventure in searching the net and placing the order. The delivery person told me how one family did not make the entire table, but several family participate in it's making. Everyone was really impressed to learn of the way the manufactures shared which added to the special quality of the table and the rich history behind the making.
We set the table formally for three dinners over the weekend. Guest enjoyed taking pictures of the 16 of us all seated at one table. I even bought boosters for my young grandchildren to be able to sit at the table and enjoy.
I had not known for sure that the chairs would arrive with the table. You should have seen my grin when table, chairs and chest arrive the week before thanksgiving.

A Place at the Table at the Lodge
Members of our family now live in California, New Jersey, Colorado, Maryland, Arizona, as well as in the Midwestern states. We meet regularly at Christmas and summer at the “lodge” in northern Michigan where we play games, eat and have family business meetings. Every person wants to know that when they get here, there will be a place at the table. The oval Amish, “incredible, expandable” table with its eleven leaves allow for a meal, a meeting, or a Monopoly game when 25 members of our family are present or when only 4 are involved. This table has been a significant part of making every one of us feel at home in our family lodge.

I inherited a beautiful oak table which was made by my late grandfather who was a master cabinet maker from Holland-- unfortunately I didn't have any chairs to go with it. I searched and searched and finally found Amish Tables... They made six Aspen chairs in white oak and were able to match the stain from a sample I sent them of the table's leaf.
This was probably the best experience I have ever had ordering something on line. The customer service was excellent and the chairs were done on time.
They are beautifully crafted and comfortable chairs that complement the table perfectly. We are so happy with them and we look forward to using them for many many years!

You'd get a kick out of seeing all these really rugged men enjoying their breaks around our Leg Mission table. Regrettably, our table is at "home"
in one of the lunch rooms at an Oil Refinery, where no pictures are allowed.
Initially, our decision to purchase from AmishTable.com was due to the sturdy craftsmanship we were sure we would receive. Finding out that we could also provide you with dimensions and color stain requests, revolving around our needs, made our decision even easier! The men in our crew like the fact that the table withstands their boisterousness without any stress on its design...We women like comfort we feel...almost like sitting in Granny's old farm kitchen.

I can't tell you how happy I was when I received my 48' round table with 11 leaves. First the workmanship and quality of the table far exceeded my expectations. There is not another piece of furniture in my house that even comes close to the workmanship of this table. I can see this becoming a family heirloom and being passed down to my children some day. I was especially pleased with the customer service I received. It was a difficult decision for me to make and I had many questions. Whenever I called to talk to someone, they were very patient, even when I changed my mind a few times about how many leaves I wanted. I was surprised when my table was completed a few weeks early and even more so when they had it shipped out in time for my mother's 84th birthday celebration. It was great to have everyone sit around one table. Now I can't wait until Thanksgiving where there will be even more at the table.
