The Summery Side of Things

Who doesn’t love summer?  And what color says summer more than Yellow?!  We can’t think of one.  Our new Inspiration post is dedicated to setting a summery table in hues of golden yellow.  We chose more natural materials to compliment the warm sunny tones.  What do you think?  What would you serve at this table?  We thought of the following: Lemon & Cucumber Water (cool and refreshing), Trader Joes’ Lemon Pepper Pappardelle Pasta along side some fresh fish, or a summer brunch with Eggs Benedict and fresh squeezed orange juice!

Style Guide

Lemon Orchard Serving Bowl and Platter – We liked this because of its relaxed and whimsical nature.

Amber Tumblers – A nod to the antique depression glass that reminds us of our grandmothers!

Rust Woven Placemat – We love to use placemats as runners down the middle of the table.  More cost effective than tablecloths and show off your beautiful table!

Banana Bark Napkin Ring – A natural material put to good use.  Improvise with twine or raffia for a similar look or for a party!

Paper Pretender Dishes – Echoing the fluted edges of paper plates, these dishes bring that picnic feel indoors.

Promenade Flatware – Simple and classic lines make this an ideal flatware pattern to compliment the more detailed items on the table.
