Warranty

All of our products come with a one year warranty that begins the date of delivery. This does not apply to normal wear and tear, abuse or natural characteristics of the wood. After one year our craftsmen will be happy to repair your furniture at a very reasonable rate. If there is a craftsmanship issue with your furniture AmishTables.com will cover all related shipping and repair expenses incurred. After 30 days the customer is responsible for shipping costs.

Lead Time

Because our furniture is handcrafted and built to order, AmishTables.com estimates that an order will take approximately 3 months to build and deliver, although that time may vary depending on our builders’ workloads. We work closely with our builder and shipping company to ensure you receive your order in a timely manner, but we will not rush them as we want your furniture to have the care and attention to it to ensure the highest possible craftsmanship possible.

Shipping

Our Amish craftsmen pride themselves in offering the best quality and workmanship in the furniture they build for you. After they complete your order the craftsman inspect the finished furniture before releasing it to be packaged. The packaging company carefully packages it and ships it to you. AmishTables.com is not responsible for damages occurred in packaging and shipping. All of your furniture is fully insured by our shipping company, PackShip USA, and we work closely with them to ensure that your furniture arrives safely to you. If during the course of packaging or shipping there is damage done to your furniture PackShip USA will help resolve the issue. Click here to learn about our claims resolution process.

Cancellations

We at Amishtables.com understand that sometimes financial difficulties arise unexpectedly, therefore we allow a 5 day grace period to cancel your order for a full refund. If you cancel your order after 5 days you will be charged a 25% (of the furniture total) restocking fee. AmishTables.com doesn’t have the ability to stop an order once it has been put into production, and therefore absorbs the cost of the furniture. All cancellation requests must be given in writing and will process your return within 10 business days of the request.

Returns / Refunds

This is a family business and we expect to provide you with quality Amish furniture. However, our refund amount is limited to the purchase price, minus shipping, if we cannot satisfactorily resolve a problem you have with your furniture. Due to the fact that each piece of furniture is custom built we are unable to return it to the builder, therefore, if you decide to return your order after the order has been received you will be subject to a 25% restocking fee of the furniture total plus the cost of shipping. Custom furniture cannot be returned unless received damaged. Your money will be refunded to your credit card once AmishTable.com has received notification your order has been picked up. You must notify AmishTables.com in writing within 10 days of the receipt of the order.

Natural Wood Characteristics

Much of the beauty of handcrafted Amish furniture is the due to the natural characteristics of the wood. For instance, Cherry wood has special characteristics such as sap wood, knots and pits that make it difficult to have a uniform look that you would get from a laminate or veneered table. We try to minimize the amount of such characteristics but they cannot be avoided.
